More difficult than a PhD : Twelve years for my driving licence

Twelve years and a lot of Deutschmark (before
the euro came, imagine!) and dollars later, a german
immigrant leaves a japaneese car in Montreal with
a sheet of paper more in his wallet: Fourteen years
later than the usual Montreal kid I got my human
right to produce Co2 as much as I want.

It was not that difficult, Quebec revised their laws of
achieving the "full license" however: No, zero, 0.0% of
alcool for two years means some kind of personal
revolution, guess I can ride my bike until 2.2 Promille!

Nevertheless: During my first trip to New York next
week my velo lays in the back, how could I cheat it
with a japaneese four wheeler..
