What happened this year? Snow everywhere, snow chaos in Boston, airport closed in NYC, the US east cost is suffering from heavy snowfall of 30cm during one night, in Germany the so reliable postal service has issues to deliver christmas presents .. and Québec ? 

A website check of "511", a local public road condition service pops up green highways all around Montreal up to the north of Gaspé, no accidents, almost no ice on the road. And the snow,.. We' re extremely glad about, keep going industrial countries, produce CO2 (if this is responsable,...), I cannot wait to ski in October:

of my bindings and ate a lot of snow during
the nuit blanche on our neighbourhood best friend
mountain BROMONT.
Whiskey with maple sirop and hot spices,
beautiful glade runs and the success of
defeating the most difficult Bromont slope -
during the night! On the picture my friend

Ein neuer Haarschnitt für die ganze Band war nicht drin:
Der Schlagzeuger drohte mit seinem eilig
gezogenen Opinel, dass nicht mal die Bundeswehr
ihm einen cm abschneiden könne: Stattdessen hat Montreal
 die erste Rockband, die zum Frisör geht um
selbst komponierten genrelosen Fußmaschinenrock
zu spielen: Die Kombo
Fußmaschine 
aus der sich während der
 Session drei mal umziehenden Leadsängerin -
den beiden gestandenen unverständlich
quebecois quatschenden schnellsten Fingern
an der Guitare ,   - und dem europäischen
Einfluss aus Frankreich und Deutschland
hat die Haare dran gelassen.

New York : 125th street Ghettoblaster's missing

New York im Indian Summer. Von seiner besten Seite. Alles ist
über diese Stadt gesagt, solange es um die bekannt schnöseligen
Ecken geht, die selbst der Stuttgarter Provinzler kennt, Soho,
Noho, Tribeca. Wunderschön, und unbewohnbar.

Das spannendste an NY sind im Moment allein die hohen
Straßenzahlen, die man auf einmal kennen muss / sagen
wir kennen darf: Während mein Vater die Demarkationslinie
110th seinem Ältesten einbläute, die er wohl auch in seinem
Leben nicht mehr überschreiten wird, wohnen, noch nicht
arbeiten, die jungen erfolgreichen Grad-Studenten nun in der
125th, der 130th oder die etwas weniger betuchten in
der 160th. In Harlem! Man, Ghettoblaster, 3 Morde
am Tag der Achtiziger - Harlem! Wir wissen alle, das
ist  - seit Law and Order Politik in NY gewütet und gut
gewütet hat -  vorbei.

Neben Harlem und den anderen Neighbourhoods in Manhattan die sich
stark wandeln , sind die an den Hudson angrenzenden  Viertel wie
Williamsburg und Greenpoint rock n roll und hippstertum pur.
Wir lassen es eine Nacht krachen - und verbringen,
die Nacht wie üblich im Auto. Denn das vor allem ist
New York. Obwohl die Metro die Nacht durchfährt,
schafft man es ob der körperlichen Verfassung nicht mehr die
ein einhalb Stunden bis nach Hause nach Jersey oder wo auch immer
zu fahren.
Die 2 jungs im Subaru sind wieder froh auf dem Plateau auch im
ärgsten Zustand fuer 10 Dollar per cab nach hause zu kommen...
Vive Montreal!

Vermont our favourite beloved state (Jay Peak, Indian Summer,
famous poets writing on yellow porches..) voted YES to
medical care for everybody, international dialogue, thus,
voted for the democrats, like the other New England states
traditionally. But w.t.h. did New Hampshire this time..?!

Schmutzig fremde Welt ...

Ich tauche in fremde Welten ein,
verschwitzte dreckige Männer die
an meinem fliegenden Auto rumschrauben
und mich als Juppie sehen,..
der dann 500$ in Bar überreicht für einen
gewechselten Timing Belt und eine neue
Ölwanne. Und der Winter kann kommen,
und hoffentlich anspruchsvollere Posts.

If you come to Osaka you must visit the neighbourhood Fukushima!
Endless rowed small bars and restaurants while a typical small dish
restaurant is usually build like seen above: Everybody sits around
the counter, cook and bartender is the same Samurai, cutting
fish and preparing wonderful small snacks the whole night
long: No constraints for enjoying nightlife in Osaka: No
closing curfew, no special alcohol tax and even smoking
allowed everywhere..!

Easy to fall in love to non english speaking bartenders if she
provides you with a small piece of a holy shrine for your
pocket!

Mission Ping Pong - Das Netzwerk wächst!

Eine Unterschrift vom Besitzer auf meinem Schläger,
eine weltweite Mission nimmt ihren Lauf: Fukoshima Ping Pong
Night und ein sehr sehr glücklicher Finalist. Freitag organisieren
wir ein Couchsurfing Meeting in der gleichen Kneipe, hoch über
Osaka, die Terasse gibt den Blick auf die Metro, riesige Antennen,
zwei Spuren Highway,.. Japanisch normale Verhältnisse. Lang
lebe Nippon.
Allein, ... in Socken oder noch schlimmer in Latschen,
denn mit meinen Lederschuhen kommst Du hier nicht mal
in ne Punkerkneipe... also auf Socken spielen ist rutschig!
